Main HO Layout

Our 900-square-foot HO-scale layout is built to replicate the railroad history of Southwest Arizona and Yuma, featuring southwestern landscapes and Yuma landmarks.

The layout is designed as three levels connected by a double helix, a double-track spiral that carries trains up and down between levels at the same time. The design allows long, realistic runs in a compact space, with plenty of scenery and operating opportunities along the way.

Members contribute time and energy to building and maintaining the layout, learn from one another, and can run their own equipment during group operating sessions. It’s a great time to join, since new members can help shape the layout as it continues to evolve.

Here are some of photos from when the layout was under construction.
